DrinkMore Water is a fast-growing bottled water business based in Gaithersburg, MD. We have been in business for 30 years but we are just getting started! The company operates a 37,000 square foot bottling and distribution facility where both DrinkMore Delivery and DrinkMore Custom Water purify, bottle, and distribute our products. DrinkMore Delivery operates a fleet of 10 vehicles that deliver purified water daily to customers through the DC, MD, and Virginia Area. DrinkMore Custom Water is the leading supplier of private labeled bottle water for some of the countrys best golf courses, hotels, car dealerships, and more. Together, we are a team of 50 people working to keep our customers happy!

We are hiring a Director a Director of Business Development to catapult our company into our next phase of growth. This person will be response for general sales and business development efforts for each business unit, including:

Manage relationships with our largest commercial customers and develop new business with similar companies who fall within our service area, including catering, construction, property management, and office supply vendors.

Develop and execute plan for expansion of the Custom Water business inclusive of new sales avenues (retail, online) and increasing co-packing business

Partner with our outsourced ecommerce marketing partners to ensure online dollars are spent effectively

Ensure current customers needs are met with proactive account management

Candidates should possess:

A positive attitude and willingness to learn - we hire culture fit first

Some background in sales and business development

Self-starter capabilities, able to take a project from idea to execution

Ability to think critically and strategically about where and how to grow which business unit

Enjoy spending some time working in white space exploring new avenues for sales

Priority would be given to candidates who have previous experience in food and beverage sales or a related field.

This candidate would report directly to the President of company. Compensation for this position will be commiserate with experience, with a target starting salary of $55,000 year salary plus bonus and benefits. Bonus based on annual targets. Benefits include company sponsored healthcare, vision, and dental plans, 401k matching, paid holidays and paid time off. Potential for minimal travel but the average week will be 5 days in the office.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
