Job Title: Installation Manager - Automotive Shop
Job Description
As an Installation Manager, you will oversee organizational processes and operations to ensure productivity and quality. Your main duties will include enhancing efficiency, managing quality standards, and supervising shop operations. You will also be responsible for leading the team in after market installations of first responder vehicles like cop cars, sheriff vehicles, etc.
Responsibilities
Manage safety and federal contractor compliance.
Conduct daily inventory management and troubleshoot any issues.
Determine customer needs and propose appropriate services.
Utilize the company's Growth Management System (GMS) to schedule and document activities and develop prospective customer profiles.
Essential Skills
Experience in the Law Enforcement industry with Emergency Vehicle Lighting, Vehicle Equipment, and Tactical Duty Gear (not required but a plus).
Knowledge of vehicle wiring and the ability to identify electrical circuits.
Experience with the installation of emergency lighting (desired but not required).
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
Emergency Vehicle Technician (EVT) certification (desired but not required).
Good hearing and color vision.
Ability to communicate well with others and work on small objects.
