Job Description:
The University of Florida Public Safety Building and Centrex Building are the centralized campus safety and security locations for the campus community. This individual will be responsible for the direction, coordination, and administration of information/data processing, building maintenance, communications, property and space accountability, and emergency operations of these two buildings in the heart of the UF campus. The building has a public meeting room, private meeting rooms, office space, law enforcement purpose areas, and 24-hour operations. This individual works closely with occupants, internal facilities services, and contractors to ensure facility maintenance.
Expected Salary:
$46,000 - $50,000
Minimum Requirements:
Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
For some positions assigned to this class, special qualifications may be added to the minimum, such as appropriate professional registration or certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred qualifications include prior experience in facilities management or building operations, including knowledge of building systems and security. Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
