Oswego Industries located in Fulton, NY is looking for a full time Production Manager.

The Production Manager oversees daily operations by providing guidance to the Management staff, create production plans for contracts, commercial orders, to meet or exceed customer expectations for quality and on-time delivery. The Production Manager is responsible for all quality documentation and ensures compliance with all specifications, time studies, safety, government audits, and ratio requirements. The Production Manager is responsible for the supervision of daily operations as well as overseeing inventory control and ensures all reports are submitted within the required timeframe to the Director of Operations.

Responsibilities - Works as the liaison for the Director of Operations overseeing daily operations with regard to contract implementation, staffing, safety, equipment utilization, quality of work, cost effectiveness, personnel issues, and record keeping - Works closely with the Operations Supervisors, and Coordinators to ensure all customer needs and requests are completed in a timely matter while keeping the Director of Operations informed of all pertinent matters - Maintains and updates the documents as required to ensure safety, training, and product flow working closely with the Operations Supervisors and Coordinators. Ensures timely response to corrective actions as needed. Responsible for quality and quantity aspects of all manufacturing products - Reviews and monitors departmental financials, spending and works to achieve budget - Ensures the compliance of contract ratios and works together with operations management team to ensure compliance - Works with Warehouse Coordinator and accounts receivable to ensure materials are ordered to keep operations running and meet commercial and government orders - Provides feedback to and ensures continued movement of new products and customer requests to the Director of Operations - Ensures all employees attend Relias group training as required - Monitors and reports back to Director of Operations employee concerns, examples attendance, productivity, quality - Facilitates and assures corporate compliance and compliance with all general and chemical safety standards as established by OSHA. - Adheres to all Agency Policies and Procedures. Utilizes appropriate processes to report issues

Education High School Diploma

Qualifications 3 year's experience in a production environment

Special Requirements -Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl -Must be able to lift/move 50+lbs -Involves indoor and outdoor assignments -May be exposed to noise, dust, chemicals and fumes. Protective equipment is provided

Work hours Monday - Friday

Wage $55,000 - $65,000 annually
