Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Financial Analyst in Fullerton, California. The job function entails a wide array of responsibilities in the Controller's Office, including financial analysis, general ledger accounting, and performance reporting. You will be part of a team that supports various financial activities and contributes to the development of financial plans and forecasts.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct financial analysis to aid decision-making and improve financial performance

• Handle general ledger accounting duties to ensure accurate financial records

• Manage timekeeping and payroll functions to maintain employee records and process payments

• Monitor and manage receivables and collections to maintain healthy cash flow

• Perform variance analysis to identify discrepancies and suggest corrective actions

• Assist in the development of financial plans and forecasts to guide the organization's financial strategy

• Maintain and manage fixed assets records to ensure accurate valuation and depreciation

• Utilize reporting tools to generate financial reports for management review

• Perform ad hoc financial tasks as required to support overall financial operations

• Utilize backup technologies to ensure data safety and accessibility. Requirements • Proficient in Reporting and Financial Analysis

• Experienced in Payroll and General Ledger operations

• Knowledgeable in Collection Processes and Accounting Functions

• Ability to perform Ad Hoc Financial tasks

• Skilled in Financial Planning and Variance Analysis

• Familiarity with Backup Technologies and Fixed Assets management

• Proficient in Time Keeping procedures

• Strong analytical skills and detail orientation

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Advanced knowledge of financial software and MS Office

• Strong ethics, with a customer-oriented approach

• Well-organized with a high degree of accuracy

• Ability to function well in a team-oriented setting
