Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Frisco, Texas. The successful candidate will be part of a team that is integral to our finance department, processing invoices, reconciling discrepancies, and maintaining vendor relationships among other responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process invoices using 3-way match to ensure they are processed in a timely manner.

• Verify purchase orders, ensuring that details including vendor, line items, and payment terms are accurate.

• Identify and resolve any discrepancies related to payments or invoices with vendors and other departments.

• Prepare and process electronic payments and checks for signature, including cashier’s checks.

• Create and maintain accurate records for vendors and all financial transactions for department and tax purposes.

• Manage vendor relationships, setup, statement reconciliations, and all communications.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure the organization’s finances are in order.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to accounts payable.

• Provide support for other accounting and finance functions as needed.

• Process documentation as needed.

• Ability to work cooperatively with all levels of employees.

Requirements • Possess proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Must have an understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary

• Ability to identify and resolve Discrepancies in accounts

• Familiarity with bill.com software is preferable

• Experience with 3 Way Matching process is required
