A DAY IN THE LIFE OF Reimbursement, RCM Systems Support Supervisor

The Revenue Cycle Management Systems Support Supervisor will oversee and provide support for database and system maintenance activities such as system configuration changes, letter and form creation, workflow design and implementation, system upgrades, and thorough regression testing to ensure validations of data and outcomes to maintain system continuity. The ideal candidate must be a hands-on leader with the ability to supervise the team responsible for developing and maintaining our revenue cycle systems, managing payer enrollment and credentialing, and designing and implementing reports within our laboratory billing and reimbursement department. This role will involve close collaboration with our IT department, reimbursement management team, and external vendors.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field is required, and/or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • At least 3 years in revenue cycle systems management, managing /doing billing system configuration changes, maintenance, upgrades, and system testing and documentation.
  • At least 3 years of successfully managing processes and people.
  • Actively displays behaviors that support the mission, vision, and values of Castle Biosciences.
• Preferred Requirements
  • Knowledge of medical insurance billing requirements and revenue cycle workflow preferred.
  • Experience in doing Payer enrollment and credentialing; commercial payers and Medicaid.
  • Experience working with clearing houses.
