Robert Half Order Entry Clerk in Fresno, California

Description We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated individual to join our team as an Order Entry Clerk in Fresno, California. This role is instrumental in managing procurement and inventory operations within our organization. As an Order Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for purchase orders, vendor research, and maintaining an organized recordkeeping system for the purchasing department.

Responsibilities:

• Utilizing Excel dashboards for procurement planning and order creation

• Managing confirmations and receipts of inventory

• Maintaining the Material Disposition Form (MDF) database and providing status updates to plants and vendors

• Generating various reports, purchase orders, memoranda, and other documents

• Initiating stock transfers and inventory adjustments in collaboration with inventory personnel

• Researching vendors and collecting prices, specifications, and other relevant data related to goods and services

• Establishing and maintaining an organized recordkeeping system for the purchasing department

• Performing all duties as directed by the Senior Buyer

• Utilizing accounting software systems for various accounting and billing functions

• Delivering exceptional customer service, including resolving customer credit inquiries and processing credit applications accurately and efficiently.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems

• Understanding of Accounting Functions and Billing Functions

• Knowledge in Claim Administration and Collection Processes

• Excellent Customer Service Skills

• Experience with Purchase Orders and Price Quotes. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role such as Order Entry Clerk or related position

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Accounting Functions and Billing Functions

• Experience in Claim Administration and Collection Processes

• Excellent Customer Service skills

• Ability to manage Purchase Orders efficiently

• Knowledge of Price Quotes and their administration

• Must have legal authorization to work in the location specified for the job posting.
