Job Title: Swing Shift Production Technician

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Production Technician where you will manage the operation of plasma reactors safely and efficiently according to production schedules. You will monitor and adjust reactor parameters in real time to optimize performance and output quality. Regular maintenance of the reactors and associated equipment will be your responsibility. Your role includes diagnosing and troubleshooting operational issues, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring cleanliness. You will ensure that the produced fertilizers meet predefined quality standards through conducting tests and inspections to verify the products' composition, effectiveness, and safety. You will work closely with engineers to refine production techniques, suggest and implement improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality. Adherence to all workplace safety guidelines and environmental regulations is required. You will participate in safety drills and training sessions, and maintain a clean and safe work environment. You will also maintain accurate production data records, including maintenance activities and quality control results. These data will be utilized to generate reports for management review. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including research and development, will be a key part of your role to support the development of new fertilizer formulations or production methods.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Fremont, California.

Work Environment

The work environment is a start-up setting. The work location is a big warehouse which can be cold at times. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses are required for safety reasons.
