ABOUT THE ROLE

The Commercial Performance Product Manager will help shape a product vision that aligns with business objectives and industry trends. They will serve as the bridge between stakeholders impacted by product delivery, including customers and end-users. The Product Owner will create and adhere to collaboration plans to facilitate seamless communication across the organization. Championing agile processes, defining user stories, curating a prioritizing backlog, and effectively communicating product requirements to the development teams.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Collaboration: Represent stakeholders involved with or impacted by product delivery, including customers and end-users. Develop and adhere to a collaboration plan to ensure communication across the business.

  • Agile Process Methodology: Define user stories, create a prioritized product backlog, and communicate product requirements to the development team. Attend all agile team meetings and provide gate approvals at necessary intervals, ensuring each step is executed properly and proper documentation is in place.

  • Product Vision: Help define a product vision that is aligned with key business objectives as well as industry & product developments. Understands details, features, functions, & stories within an Agile environment, & how they connect to our strategy.

  • Strategic Vision: Understand core competencies required to maximize effectiveness in commercial roles. Having access to both high-level strategy and granular details is vital.

  • Training: Understand the core competencies of the functions we support, and partner with the team to develop training content reflective of those functions. Leverage a variety of training methods such as inapp guidance, communications, Q&A and traditional training courses to ensure the business is able to properly leverage the tools at their disposal.

  • Health and Safety Leadership: Lead by example in prioritizing health and safety, establishing a culture that strives for zero incidents.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Education: Bachelor's degree or HS Diploma with 7 years of equivalent experience

Field of Study Preferred: Business, Construction Management, IT

Required Work Experience: 5 years experience in sales function preferred. Additionally, having a good grasp of implementation methodologies, understand the sales process.

Required Computer and Software Skills: Experience with CRM & reporting software are such as Salesforce & Qlik

Travel Requirements: 10%

  • Initiative: Self-motivated and assertive, with the drive to take ownership of projects and lead them to successful completion.

  • Influential Leadership: The ability to influence decision-making and strategic outcomes, effectively guiding the organization toward its objectives.

  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests
