This position is based in our Frankfurt office and there is an opportunity for a hybrid work arrangement per management discussion.
Key Responsibilities
The role is responsible for maximizing the contracted agent and corporate customer experience by offering comprehensive service and sales support. The role is an integral part of sales and complements field sales efforts by handling service-related issues and achieving a mutually beneficial resolution for both customers and United.
Provide inside sales support via telephone and email to travel agencies, tour operators and corporate accounts across multiple European markets
Serve as the primary point of contact for service related issues within Europe's sales organization for United's contracted agent and corporate customers
Provide reservations-related (PNR) and post-ticketing assistance to contracted agents and corporate customers; to offer innovative solutions that create win/win situations for both the customer and United Airlines
Provide timely and informative responses to contracted agent, corporate customers and field sales inquiries in a professional manner
Coordinate with other United divisions (i.e. baggage, reservations etc.) to mediate and resolve customer issues
Track services offered to the customers
Ensure the highest level of customer services is maintained
This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
Bachelor's degree or 4 years’ equivalent work experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good PC skills, particularly with Word, Outlook and Excel
High level of customer service skills via phone and email
A logical thinker with excellent planning and organizational skills
This position requires a pro-active team player with a positive attitude
Must be fluent in English and German (written and spoken)
Airline or travel agency experience
Ticketing knowledge
Some travel involved
Must be legally authorized to work in Germany for any employer without sponsorship
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
Fluent in other European languages especially French (written and spoken)
GDS experience
