JOB SUMMARY The Operations Business Analyst II is responsible for optimizing and enhancing operations efficiency in the drilling, completions and production of natural gas. This position is responsible for analyzing data, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing strategies to drive performance and mitigate risks. This role works to achieve operational targets under general supervision. Requires the ability to influence others by explaining facts, policies and practices. Problems faced may be difficult but generally not complex. Demonstrates integrity, accountability, and transparency; upholds BKV standards, values and culture. RESPONSIBILITIES Typical job responsibilities of the OPERATIONS BUSINESS ANALYST II include: • Monitor drilling and completions key performance indicators (KPIs), generate reports, and provide insights and recommendations to management. • Conduct data analysis and use statistical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and areas for optimization. • Create and manage dashboards to track operational performance. • Collaborate with cross functional teams to map and analyze operational processes, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements. • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry policies and recommend strategies to meet compliance requirements. • Collaborate with stakeholders, including operations teams, engineering department, and regulatory agencies. • Communicate effectively and work to influence key stakeholders regarding policies, practices, and procedures. • May provide guidance and assistance to entry-level professionals and others. • Perform other duties as required. REQUIRED SKILLS • Understanding of natural gas industry standards, market trends, emerging issues, and regulatory requirements. • Skilled in Wellview management and reporting. • Experience developing data analytics tools using platforms such as Spotfire or Power BI. • Experience with P2, SCADA, and Enertia software preferred. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and job-related applications. Uses insights from digital tools to improve performance. • Ability to thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Advanced interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills. • Demonstrated attention to detail, organization and prioritization skills. • Demonstrated cognitive and problem-solving skills. • Growth mindset with a demonstrated ability to innovate, embrace change and have grit. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE • High school diploma or GED required. Associate or bachelor's degree preferred. • Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORKING CONDITIONS • This position is located at BKV’s Fort Worth, Texas office. Remote work will be considered. • Indoor working environment that requires the ability to perform repetitive motions and operate standard office equipment. • May occasionally be exposed to distracting noise while sharing office space with others.
