Job Title: Director of Maintenance

Job Description

Seeking a Director of Maintenance to lead our A&P team in a part 145 environment. This direct-hire position offers up to $120,000 with a $10,000 sign-on bonus. The role involves routine and unscheduled inspections of piston engine airframes, identifying repair needs and maintenance issues, performing repairs, modifications, and replacements of aircraft components and systems as required, focusing on piston engines and related airframe structures. You will also troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, complete maintenance records and logbook entries, collaborate with maintenance team members, and assist in training and mentoring junior staff.

Hard Skills

• Experience managing an A&P team in a part 145 environment

• IA required (inspection authorization)

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Fort Myers, Florida.

Work Environment

Full-time position with a four-day work week option or a standard five-day work week. Enjoy three-day weekends every week with the four-day schedule. Mandatory overtime is minimal, less than 5% per year. There is no on-call duty, ensuring days off are uninterrupted. Benefit from 60-minute lunches and work in a climate-controlled factory with new aircraft (2022 or newer).
