Responsibilities Serves as a conduit and Subject Matter Expert (SME) with the United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) and the National Guard Bureau (NGB). Reviews, analyzes, coordinates, formulates, develops, validates, prioritizes and evaluates the 1st SFC(A) POM including input for Materiel Modernization requirements. Develops and implements policy and procedures for 1st SFC(A) subordinate units concerning the management and change of force structure documents. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes serving as Senior Analyst managing and leading the Strategic Planning and Programming (SPP) Division. Responsible for the formulation, preparation, presentation, and administration of force integration policies, programs, and strategic long-range plans within imposed resources constraints; Reviewing, analyzing, coordinating, formulating developing, validating, prioritizing and providing input for operational and training requirements resourcing. Conducting in depth reviews of program sufficiency to meet mission requirements. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Financial Management Leadership Planning and Evaluating Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
