Are you a detail-oriented, dependable, and persistent individual with a passion for precision machining? We are seeking a skilled Precision Machinist to join our team. In this role, you will set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments from metal, making prototypes and improving existing products. Responsibilities

Job requires

Attention to Detail, being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks

Dependability, being reliable, responsible and persistence, to get the job done in the face of obstacles

KEY REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Tools used: Calipers, Gauges, Lathes, Mills, Squares, Desktop computer, Scanner, Copier, Printer, Tele

 Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and sketches. Knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles

involved in production.

 Able to communicate orally and in writing in English, basic oral instructions, simple written memos, and

instructions

High degree of Mechanical Ability to disassemble and reassemble machines and components in a timely manner.

Operation Monitoring – Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.

 Critical Thinking – Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternate solutions,

conclusions, or approaches to problems.

 Reading Comprehension – Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents

The essential functions of this role include:

• manual lifting up to 60lbs
