Job Description:

Database Analyst - CORE hours Mon-Fri

HOW A DATABASE ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Resolve problems associated with SQL server and SharePoint system data.

  • Gather data, designs formats, and create new programs or adjust existing programs as needed to create reports while documenting all changes.

  • Analyze and troubleshoot software database systems and performance problems and accurately document actions taken.

  • Must be able to effectively prioritize needs and to satisfy those needs in a timely manner.

  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.

  • Ability to participate in special projects as required.

  • Review quarterly Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), remediate open vulnerabilities and report compliance.

  • Knowledge of server administration and network connectivity.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

● Education: BA/BS or equivalent years of experience.

● Required Certification: 8570 certification: IAT Level II Certification (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP AND Computing environment certificate in Microsoft Certified Fundamentals or equivalent within 6 months of hire.

● Required Experience: 3 years of systems administration experience analysis of Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or later

● Required Technical Skills: MS SQL 2012 or later

● Security Clearance Level: Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET DoD Security Clearance.

● Required Skills and Abilities: Good team communication, problem solving, troubleshooting database errors

● Location: On Customer Site, Fort Huachuca, AZ

The likely salary range for this position is $76,500 - $103,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
