Kepco, Inc. Technical Support - Assistant Supervisor in Flushing, New York
Description/Skill Set
You will learn this product line from the ground up and eventually supervise the department. To do so, you will need extensive training in the product which requires complete understanding of the assembly process, as well as the hardware and software. Applicants are required to have proficient skills in testing and troubleshooting of both linear and switch-mode power supplies. You will identify cause and effect of electronic and software issues and work with Engineering to maintain a worry-free product. You must be enthusiastic about working in a hands-on environment where power supplies are designed, manufactured and shipped. You must be computer literate and have full knowledge of utilizing test equipment such as but not limited to oscilloscopes, signal generator, voltmeters, AC line monitors, and current meters. You will be capable of debugging complex analog, digital and power circuits and possess a minimum of a BS/EET (Electrical or Telecommunications with Electronic/Electrical courses) or equivalent experience. Previous supervisory experience is a plus.
Salary: $25 to $40 per hour (will consider part-time at 25 hours per week to start)
