Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – Heart & Vascular Specialists Fast-paced, high-volume clinic is looking for top skilled LVN Work location: 1000 Flower Mound Road, Flower Mound, TX 75028 Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday thru Thursday, 8:00am – 5:00pm & Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm Travel: 25% to surrounding clinics in Flower Mound & Denton as needed ( mileage reimbursement provided ) Heart & Vascular Specialists Department Highlights:

Here’s What You Need
High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
Accredited School of Practical Nursing Program (required)
LVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse Upon Hire (required)
1 year LVN experience (preferred)
Knowledge of basic nursing processes and understanding of healthcare technology, equipment, and supplies
Knowledge of state law on nursing care, nurse practice guidelines, and clinic policies and procedures
Ability to effectively communicate to staff and patients
Demonstrate sound judgment and composure
Ability to take appropriate action in questionable or emergency situations
Maintain a positive, caring attitude towards staff and patients
Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
Efficient time management skills
What You Will Do
Deliver care to patient utilizing the LVN, EMT, or Paramedic Process
Under the supervision of the physician, you will complete chemical and walking stress testing utilizing the nursing process to plan, implement, evaluate and provide care as needed
Perform Stress tests (ETT) and stress portion of Stress echo exams
Perform IV starts and perform the Dobutamine portion of Dobutamine Stress Echo, administer Definity contrast for Echo exams, and perform Echo bubble studies
Cross train in Nuclear dept for Nuclear walking and non-walking stress tests
Prepare preliminary reports for provider interpretation
Candidate can expect to work closely with Echo staff, Nuclear staff and providers
Candidate can expect to work in the Flower Mound-South clinic with the expectation of traveling to other clinics in Flower Mound and Denton if needed to fill in, <25% of the time.
