Your Impact at SAM
The primary role of the Business Development Manager is to work with the Department Managers (Doer/Sellers) to represent the company’s growth and account development plans as well as strategy. This role will be responsible for creating, planning and executing sales strategies that drive overall growth and produce sales results.
Work with the Department Managers (Doer/Seller) to create and execute sales plans
Develop performance plan for Business Development Professionals
Serve as a liaison with operational teams to ensure that client needs are understood and supported
Manage relationships with existing clients to optimize revenue and margins while continuously growing new business opportunities
Formulate business development, plans and activities to increase company presence in defined markets and achieve annual sales target objectives
Attend required networking and industry development functions
Travel as needed for specific client requirements or meetings/conferences
Entertain clients and prospects as appropriate
Perform other tasks as assigned to help accomplish the company’s strategic goals
What You Bring to SAM
Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, or equivalent education and experience
2 plus years of experience in similar industry sales success
Experience with Salesforce is preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Capable of working both individually and as a part of a very dynamic team of professionals
Above average attention to detail, and organizational, interpersonal, and team-oriented skills
Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines
