Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

Join our team as a Material Handler and take charge of performing advanced production activities on various saws, including vertical and horizontal. You will be responsible for reviewing work orders, selecting the correct materials, positioning workpieces, and operating a combination of different machines. Your role will involve determining processing specifications, installing cutting blades, adjusting controls for cutting speed and feed rates, and ensuring all processed materials meet precise specifications. You will also be tasked with performing quality control inspections, maintaining equipment, diagnosing machine problems, coordinating material handling, and completing necessary documentation.

Hard Skills

  • Experience with material handling

  • Experience in a warehouse setting

  • Ability to operate various saws (vertical, horizontal)

  • Proficient in using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers)

  • Knowledge of AS 9100 quality control standards

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Fife, Washington.

Work Environment

This position operates in a non-climate controlled warehouse environment, specifically tailored for the aerospace industry. The work schedule is a weekend shift from Friday to Sunday, 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
