Entrust is looking for an ambitious and sales driven individual to join its Payment & Identity Sales team. We are seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) for EMEA SDR team to identify, qualify, and nurture potential customers for our Payment & Identity offerings.

As the first line of communication with prospects, the ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Sales or Business Development role within the IT or Fintech industry. They will require a strong understanding of sales process, will excel at researching leads, starting new relationships, and developing outbound sales opportunities. Strong communication skills, and the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way will be key to success in this position.

The role will report to the EMEA Channel Manager and will work closely with the EMEA SDR Manage, the Sales Managers and Sales Executives.

Responsibilities:

Candidates will be required to learn and understand Entrust’s Payment & Identity products and offerings and will be responsible for clearly articulating value propositions.

The creation of succinct and compelling messaging which addresses prospect and customer pain points and needs will be key to success in this role.

Prospecting will be carried out via telephone, email and social media utilizing the companies lead generation and sales engagement tools including Salesloft, Zoominfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

Lead qualification

  • Prompt follow up and qualification of inbound marketing leads via phone, email and social media outreach to identify potential projects and sales opportunities.

Proactive outreach to target prospects and dormant customer accounts.

  • Working closely with the external sales team to identify target accounts.

  • Researching and identifying relevant contacts

  • Outreach via phone email and social media to position the Entrust Payment & Identity solutions, arrange meetings and identify potential projects and sales opportunities

Channel Partner Engagement

  • Building strong working relationships with Distributors and Resellers to identify joint marketing and selling opportunities.

Support in the follow-up and closing of sales opportunities.

  • Working closely with the Sales Executives and wider selling team

Contribute to and support marketing activities.

  • Involved in the planning and execution of marketing events and activities

  • Subsequent event follow up

Required:

  • Fluent written and spoken English

  • Prospecting and qualification experience within Sales / Business Development

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to identify customer needs and articulate solutions

  • Consistent track record of attaining and exceeding personal / team goals and quota

  • Ability to build client relationships over the phone

  • Must be organized, detail and process oriented

  • Proficiency with standard corporate productivity tools (Microsoft Office Suite, email, phone skills)

  • Strong email and web search skills

Preferred:

  • Knowledge and experience of the IT and Fintech industry

  • Experience in use of CRM, online sales and marketing tools
