Who We Want

Miller Industries is seeking a *Welder/Fitter *for our 2^nd^ Shift at our Thompson Road location. The hours are 5 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., Monday -- Friday, with overtime as required for production on weekends. The ideal candidate will need to be proficient in MIG welding HRS, stainless steel and aluminum.

 

What You Will Be Doing

Our Welders are reading engineered drawings, cutting, welding, and assembling materials for our wide range of customers.

  • Handling, cutting, welding, and assembling materials (steel, stainless, aluminum) for our custom products.
  • Ensuring that all products are fabricated, welded, and installed according to our engineered drawings.
  • Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
  • Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade, such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment.
  • Assist with the lay out, positioning, alignment, and securing of parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers.
  • Take pride in the quality of your work and servicing customers.
  • Work closely with other team members to accurately fulfill customer orders on time.
