The Tax Accountant will be responsible for managing tax reporting and compliance within the organization. This role involves preparing tax returns, ensuring adherence to tax regulations, and identifying tax-saving opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns in a timely and accurate manner.

• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.

• Conduct research on tax issues and provide recommendations to management.

• Identify tax-saving opportunities and potential areas of tax risk.

• Assist with tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.

• Maintain and update tax records and documentation.

• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate these changes to the relevant stakeholders.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• CPA certification preferred.

• Minimum of [X] years of experience in tax accounting or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.

• Proficiency in tax preparation software and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
