Burrell Behavioral Health Housing Liaison in Farmington, Missouri

Job Title: Housing LiaisonLocation: Farmington, MissouriEmployment Type: Full-time

Job Summary:As the Housing Liaison, your primary role is to engage individuals with disabilities or those in recovery and assist them in meeting their basic needs, including finding safe and affordable housing. You will actively support clients in resolving housing crises, serving as the internal expert on housing resources in your designated area. Collaborate with local Continuums of Care to identify individuals facing housing instability and establish a network for stable and supportive housing options.

Key Responsibilities:• Outreach to households experiencing homelessness or a housing crisis, providing information and referrals to necessary services• Participate in Coordinated Entry/Case Conferencing meetings within the local Continuum of Care• Build and strengthen relationships with local landlords, provide education, and make referrals• Assist individuals in navigating behavioral health, substance use, physical health, and employment services• Serve as a resource to case managers, clients, and agency administration on housing and community resources• Complete timely data collection and stay up-to-date on all community resources• Re-engage individuals who have become disconnected from services to prevent homelessness• Practice Housing First, harm reduction, and low-barrier service models when working with individuals and families

  • Associate of Applied Science in Behavioral Health Support degree from an approved institutionOR....

Four years of qualifying experience minimum or a combination of education and experience equaling four years required.OR....

  • Qualified Addictions Professional (QAP)CADC, CRADC, CRAADC, CCJP, RADC-P, RADC, CCDP, CCDP-D

Required License/Certification:• Current driver's license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance• Completion of SOAR, Housing Liaison, and HUD Quality Standards training

Additional Qualifications:• Successful completion of background checks, including criminal record, driving record, and abuse/neglect• Strong communication skills and ability to develop new relationships within the community• Ability to maintain confidentiality and establish effective relationships via telephone and in-person• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications• Ability to multi-task, respond to crises, and maintain composure in challenging situations
