Role Purpose: This position is for an Engineering Intern to assist in the responsibilities of integrating electronics into ATD and load cell product lines, by utilizing analysis, experimentation, design, testing knowledge and experience. Develop and design mechanical components used in ATD integration product line.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Assist in Design custom ATD and electrical components for data acquisition systems (DAS) integration using Altium and Inventor software.
Assist in Design, develop and test instrumentation.
Perform ATD and DAS testing as required.
Assist in Design of mounting devices for integration of instrumentation.
Creates, interprets, and revises wiring diagrams as required.
Assist in the selection, maintenance, design, and construction of electrical components.
Develop and release engineering drawings in CAD (2D and 3D) for instrumentation integration, utilizing Autodesk Inventor
Assist in Resolving internal instrumentation integration issues.
Check parts for fit and function.
Perform technical analysis, testing, calculations, and evaluations of results.
Develop and design technical documentation, make revisions to existing documentation, and provide input.
Compose, comprehend, and implement technical specifications and test scenarios to validate functional requirements.
Other duties as assigned.
Other Significant Role Requirements:
Exposure to Autodesk Inventor 3D CAD software and management
Some Experienced with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
Skilled with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PP)
Exposure on Electrical circuit board design software.

Education and/or Experience Requirements:
2-year technical degree required (or actively pursuing 4-year Engineering degree)
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) technical preferred
