Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

Join our team as a Material Handler and operate forklifts and pallet jacks to efficiently move materials in and around the production area. Your role will involve kitting fasteners and metal pieces for assembly and welding based on specific job numbers. You will need to accurately read a tape measure and identify various parts, bolts, tools, etc., ensuring all work is performed safely. The position requires working mostly outdoors and moving between buildings, including to/from the paint building, using a forklift. Training will occur on the 1st shift, with a transition to a flexible start time for the Night Shift, aiming for a 10-hour shift between 2 pm and 3 am.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Fargo, North Dakota.

Work Environment

You'll be working in a standard metal shop environment divided into fabrication and weld/assembly areas, with paint and blast operations conducted in a separate building. The role involves being on your feet for most or all of the day. You will generally work as a supplier to the welding and assembly area, handling 12-15 models of trailers with customization options. Long sleeves are preferred, and uniforms will be issued for long-term employee
