Job Title: Equipment Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance on shop equipment, including forklifts, presses, air compressors, spray equipment, welding machines, CNC machines, and overhead garage doors. The technician will complete tasks such as greasing, parts swaps, cleanouts, and fluid changes. Additionally, troubleshooting equipment over the phone with OEM or vendor representatives to ensure timely repairs is required. Safety is a top priority in all work activities. The use of overhead cranes to move equipment will be necessary when needed.
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance on shop equipment including forklifts, presses, air compressors, spray equipment, welding machines, CNC machines, and overhead garage doors.
Complete routine greasing, parts swaps, cleanouts, and fluid changes.
Troubleshoot equipment over the phone with OEM or vendor representatives to ensure quick repairs.
Perform all work safely.
Use overhead cranes to move equipment as needed.
Essential Skills
Experience with pneumatic/air compressor repair and troubleshooting.
Previous mechanical repair experience with gears, rollers, overhead doors, etc.
MIG welding and blueprint reading skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Forklift or trailer repair experience is a plus.
Fabrication and welding experience.

Work Environment
Work in a standard metal shop environment with fabrication on one side of the building and weld/assembly on the other. All paint and blast operations are conducted in a separate building. The dress code is long sleeves preferred, with uniforms issued after a long-term commitment is determined. The position is primarily 1st shift, from 6am-4:30pm, with flexibility to start closer to 8am if needed. The work week is Monday through Thursday, with the possibility of working 5-8 hours on Fridays. Additional hours and on-call work may be required.
