T and T Consulting Services Business Analyst/Quality Assurance (12 Month Contract) in Falls Church, Virginia
Project Overview:
Will provide services within the department of commerce in accordance with its mission. The Business Systems Analyst will support the Greater Atlantic Regional Fisheries Office (GARFO) with delivery of projects, creates technical solutions to business problems, analyzes processes for maximum use of technical systems capabilities, and assists in design, delivery, and testing of technical solutions.
The Business Systems Analyst will work with project teams, stakeholders, and NOAA staff to determine current system gaps, system modernization requirements, and other best solution available for the business challenges of GARFO Applications.
Primary Responsibilities:
Applies functional, analytic, and technical skills to support the Program Office in delivering technical solutions for business problems. Conducts positive interactions with colleagues and others that result in documentation and recommendations for solutions;
Interacts with Subject Matter Experts throughout the organization to gather requirements, and analyze processes to determine technical solutions needed.
Supports the deployment of system solutions. Coordinates any meetings, applies project management principles and follows up on tasks to ensure timely delivery;
Assists in technical support of existing systems and operations, with an extensive understanding of the business processes and priorities involved in the process. Responds in a timely manner to issues and escalates to upper management as necessary.
Demonstrated customer-facing, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment across business and technical communities;
Ability to write comprehensive test documentation such as test cases, test scripts, test reports, and defect reports
Must be able to multi-task and excel in a fast-paced, on-time deliverable environment
Strong analytical skill and mindset, with research, problem solving, and troubleshooting abilities
Ability to analyze/interpret test results and provide recommendations to improve testing
Familiarity with distributed frameworks/cloud environment. Knowledge and experience in automated test generation (preferred)
