We are inviting applications for the role of a Level II Support Engineer based out of Fairfield, OH. The role primarily revolves around system and business process understanding, and the translation of real-world problems into system-based solutions. The industry in focus is distribution, and the successful applicant will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to ERP systems / software and hardware support. There are IT specialists remotely to assist with specific ERP, systems, and network. You will be "boots on the ground" with an excellent customer-service mindset as well as business and IT acumen.

Responsibilities:

• Play a support role in supporting the implementation of new business applications and systems through post-live.

• Collaborate effectively with teams across ERP/Finance/HR/Business Operations and IT to execute projects and roadmap items.

• Provide alternative solutions, utilizing creative-thinking expertise and solutions to ensure effective reporting and analysis.

• Offer technical and subject matter expertise to project teams involved in the development of implementation and test plans associated with application upgrades and implementations.

• Troubleshoot issues and assist with support through systems testing and error resolution.

• Manage relationships between external and internal stakeholders.

• Conduct risk assessments to develop response strategies.

• Connect closely with the business and serve as the business-facing support team.

• Establish, document, and promote best practices and standards.

• Conduct application training or provide guidance to the field users.

• Collaborate with the business teams on projects and enhancement requests.

• Serve as a business process improvement specialist.

• Gather requirements when new solutions (applications, reports, etc.) are needed.

• Reduce open/ongoing incidents or break-fix solutions.

• Coordinate change management for ERP demands and all other application

Requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Enterprise IT Support Analyst role or similar within the distribution/manufacturing industry

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Experience with Active Directory, specifically in managing user accounts and resolving related issues

• Knowledge of computer hardware, including the ability to troubleshoot and repair common issues

• Experience providing deskside support to end-users, including hardware and software installation and troubleshooting

• Familiarity with network printers, including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users

• Must be able to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
