Job Description:

GDIT’s DOJ/OJP team is looking for a dynamic and experienced Enterprise Data Architect to guide and build our client's Data Management Center of Excellence. Our client is engaging in a significant overhaul of its legacy IT environment and approach. You, as the Data Architect, will play a pivotal role in the planning and execution of this modernization effort. While working closely with senior Federal staff, you will design and implement the foundation on which OJP will build its future systems.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience designing and executing an enterprise data architecture, strategy, and integration to effectively and efficiently support organizational strategy;

  • Experience as an Enterprise Data Architect with a proven track record of the following:

  • Built out Data Reference Models and related artifacts

  • Developed and maintained enterprise wide data management standards;

  • Documented and presented As-Is Business and Data Models to inform To-Be architectures;

  • Defined future state Business and Data Models and developed associated IT Roadmaps for transitioning;

  • Developed Data Governance Models and collaborated with all stakeholders within the organization including business and technical staff to implement governance;

  • Led end-to-end data-life cycle flow analysis from an organization’s transactional systems to corporate data warehouse;

  • Established data stewardship within organizations;

  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of data architecture best practices related to business intelligence, data virtualization, master data management, and machine learning;

  • Understanding and experience with Cloud (AWS, Azure)-related data architecture technologies and solutions;

  • Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture (EA) Frameworks (FEAF, TOGAF) and EA Tools.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills as follows:

  • Presentation experience with C-level executives;

  • Established partnerships between stakeholders and technical staff to improve data ownership, and information sharing;

  • A track record of delivery in challenging, face-paced environments

  • BS or equivalent + 14 yrs related experience, or MS + 12 yrs related experience.

  • Active DOJ/OJP Public Trust clearance.

Contract Requirements:

  • Contract Requires US Citizenship

  • Must be able maintain an Agency specific Public Trust clearance

The likely salary range for this position is $154,960 - $207,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
