Overview
GovCIO is currently hiring for Recruiter to join our Health and Civilian Talent Acquisition team. This position will be located in Fairfax, VA and will be a fully remote opportunity.
Responsibilities
Interviews and screens applicants for technical competence, applicable background and skills, individual goals and ability to fit in the organization and function effectively. Evaluate information concerning previous employment record. Submits qualified candidates to hiring manager based on information developed through interviews, reference checks, applications and resumes. Assists hiring managers in selecting the most qualified candidates and coordinates employment offers.
Works with Recruiting Director and Talent team to provide recruiting services to health and civilian government customers.
Collaborates with hiring managers to create and review employment requisitions and develop staffing plans.
Communicates with hiring manager on the status of requisitions, candidate quality and candidate pipeline.
Reviews and analyzes resumes using company's applicant tracking system
Evaluates candidate's employment factors such as job experience, education and training, skills, knowledge and abilities.
Arranges management interviews.
May participate with management to develop job specifications, make salary recommendations and negotiate starting salary.
Qualifications
Bachelor's with 5 - 8 years of IT recruiting experience (or commensurate experience)
Experience working for a government contract company.
Experience working with iCIMS applicant tracking system.
Experience providing full service recruiting for health and civilian organizations (DoS, DEA, FBI, EPA, HHS, US Courts, US Postal, etc)
Preferred:
- Previous experience working for a staffing company

Posted Pay Range
The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
Posted Salary Range
USD $85,000.00 - USD $95,000.00 /Yr.
