Presque Isle Downs & Casino Surveillance Operator in Erie, Pennsylvania
Must have a flexible schedule, as you may be requested to work all shifts. The Surveillance Operator is responsible for the learning the policies, procedures and systems for the video monitoring of all vital areas within the confines of the property. The natural progression of this position is to that of a Surveillance Operator, after the successful completion of six (6) to twelve (12) months of training.
- Maintains strict adherence to the confidentiality of all departmental and Presque Isle Downs & Casino information.
- The trainee will work closely with another Surveillance Operator or with the Surveillance Supervisor throughout their training period.
- Will be trained to maintain close observation on all casino activities through the use of the monitoring system. Will learn to communicate with various departments and agencies using a radio.
- Will learn to observe ingress/egress guest activity. Will perform close watch on select employees or guests as directed by the Surveillance Supervisor or higher. Will learn to utilize all necessary equipment to identify, record, and document unusual and/or illegal activities in casino slot areas, cage areas, table game areas, and other money handling areas.
- Responsible for learning all relevant Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board regulations, as well as Presque Isle Downs & Casino internal controls and standard operating procedures.
- May be called in as needed for all days and shifts on short notice.

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES
Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have any supervisory responsibility.

This job requires strong vision skills, including close vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
