Summary of position

The Marketing Manager will run the daily functions of the marketing department. Will work closely with Business Development leadership and sales teams.

Duties and responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage the marketing/PR strategy
• Plan, implement and manage marketing and lead generation campaigns and measure results
• Develop and maintain a consistent corporate image both internally and externally, and ensure that the brand is well communicated across all channels
• Creation, implementation and management of industry award submissions
• Capture unique content including photos, videos etc from job sites through use of cameras, drones etc.
• Manage all social media channels, strategy and activity
• Responsible for the creation of marketing materials and/or working with outside agency support
• Ensure company websites are kept up to date
• Attend specific tradeshows and industry events as needed
• Identify and understand a client's business needs and objectives to develop marketing and sales campaigns
• Coordinate liaison between sales, business development and other departments
• Maintain effective internal marketing communications

Qualifications

• A proven track record in marketing and/or communications
• Ability to develop, manage and implement strategy and plans
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
• Knowledge and application of a wide range of marketing and sales techniques and concepts
• Enthusiastic and creative
• Strategic planning skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong motivation, leadership and team management skills
• Analytic ability
• Experience within the building and construction industry is a bonus
• Ability to attend industry events and do some travel

Education

• A degree in marketing, communications, public relations, business administration, advertising or related field is required

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
