Join our sales team in a role that DOESN'T require cold calling! Position Overview:

The role entails supporting wholesalers, contractors, and end-users in their quotation and sales needs, catering to new construction projects. Tasks include processing information from various sources like service technicians, external sales representatives, customer inquiries, and construction documents. Responsibilities span from quoting repairs, supply, to installation of fluid handling equipment. Collaboration with service technicians, service coordinators, purchasing, and sales teams is integral.

Primary Responsibilities:

Generating quotations for products, parts, and service labor. Coordinating aftermarket service projects internally. Engaging in clear communication with customers regarding project specifications and expectations. Providing technical support to customers via phone. Handling incoming customer inquiries for parts sales. Initiating quote requests to manufacturers and vendors. Utilizing manufacturer tools for pricing and sizing. Conducting follow-up calls to customers regarding pending quotes. Coordinating with subcontractors as needed. Undertaking other assigned duties. Education and Experience:

  • Preferably a high school diploma or college degree, although equivalent experience will be considered.

  • Desirable to have two to three years of sales experience.

  • Familiarity with pumps and motors, ideally with at least one year of experience.

Key Qualifications:

  • Prior sales or customer service background with communication skills.

  • Experience in trade field repairs is advantageous.

  • Proficiency in understanding plumbing and mechanical schedules and specifications.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce is beneficial.

  • computer skills with the ability to adapt to proprietary software.

  • Competence in Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel) and SharePoint is advantageous.

  • Attention to detail, self-motivation, and effective time management are essential.

  • Prior vendor interaction experience is beneficial.

salary: $50,000 - $75,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

  • Quoting of all products, parts and service labor

  • Communicating and planning aftermarket service projects with internal teams

  • Clearly discussing specification and expectations of project scope with customers

  • Provide technical phone support to customers for all products

  • Assist incoming customer calls for parts sales

  • Sending out quote requests to manufacturers and vendors

  • Utilizing manufacturer pricing and sizing tools

  • Performing follow up calls to customers on pending quotes

  • Coordinating with subcontractors for needed services

  • Other duties may be assigned
