Job Duties and Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

As the HR Change and Communications Specialist, you’ll be a key partner for the HR team. You’ll drive the change and communications strategies across key HR projects and programs. You'll collaborate closely with the HR team and other functions to identify thoughtful change approaches and develop communications timelines for HR programs and projects. You will also be responsible for managing internal HR connections and events.

  • Conducting change impact assessments and analyses to identify key initiatives' needs, risks, and opportunities

  • Developing plans and implementing strategies to address upcoming changes in people, processes, and technology

  • Support HR programs and projects by creating and delivering clear, consistent messages and materials that communicate the vision, benefits, and expectations

  • Monitoring and measuring the effectiveness and outcomes of initiatives and providing feedback and recommendations for improvement

  • Building and maintaining solid relationships with leaders and team members and acting as a trusted advisor and change champion

  • Manage and maintain an internal page on the company intranet, ensuring accurate and thoughtful distribution of HR-related information to all employees

  • Support ad hoc projects and initiatives as needed

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Who You Are:

We’re looking for an experienced change manager focused on successful implementation and communications for People program launches, enhancements, and ongoing deployment.

  • You have a flair for the creative and love building narratives and plans from the ground up; you also have the management skills to bring your ideas to fruition

  • You have outstanding interpersonal skills and build strong relationships with all levels of roles across functions, involving the right people at the right time across the business

  • You ask forward-thinking, big-picture questions to help drive cross-functional collaboration that enables teams to identify the best solutions

  • You have a proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and entrepreneurial environment and the versatility to manage multiple projects, priorities, and sometimes urgent issues successfully and simultaneously

  • You’re comfortable with navigating ambiguity, combining different perspectives, and ultimately driving functional partners to decisions

  • You’re clear about what success looks like and help bring your stakeholders along to achieve these goals

  • You are a self-starter, highly motivated, and able to shift directions quickly when priorities change

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive change at all levels of the organization

If this sounds like you, you probably have experience with:

  • Change management best practices and implementation with a client- or customer-focused mentality

  • Experience building and executing change management strategy, including identifying sponsors, managing through resistance, tracking progress, and analyzing results

  • Superb communication, presentation, and facilitation skills; able to tailor messages and styles to different audiences and situations

  • Communicating directly with cross-functional partners, including effective conflict management, prioritizing, and managing stakeholder requests

  • Leading development and execution of communication plans, communication collateral, training, and change adoption strategies

  • Presenting to groups at all levels and the ability to answer questions with poise and confidence while relating in an approachable manner

Education and Experience:

  • BA/BS in a related area of study, communications, phycology, business administration

  • Minimum 6-8 years of related work experience, preferably in both change management and communications

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $72,350.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
