Bluehawk, LLC is seeking a UX/UI Designer responsible for designing and developing user interfaces for large consumer-facing web applications. This role requires a broad understanding of web application components, from initial design through implementation and deployment. The ideal candidate will translate high-level requirements into intuitive, functional, and aesthetically pleasing interfaces. They will collaborate with product management and engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions and ensure a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities
Design and develop user interfaces for web applications, ensuring a cohesive and engaging user experience.
Translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and visual designs.
Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to communicate design ideas effectively.
Participate in all phases of development from definition and design to implementation, unit testing, and deployment.
Develop and execute automated unit tests to ensure the quality of releasable software.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to structured practices in source code management and build/release management.
Conceptualize and design original ideas that simplify and enhance user experience.
Lead usability reviews and propose improvements to front-end design.
Execute all visual design stages, from concept to final hand-off to engineering teams.
Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement solutions aligned with product direction, visuals, and user experience.
Present and defend design concepts and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive-level stakeholders.
Conduct user research, evaluate feedback, and incorporate findings into design improvements.
Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
Ensure adherence to design guidelines and maintain consistency across the application.
Qualifications
Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a CI Polygraph.
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 8 years of experience in UX/UI design, particularly for large consumer-facing web applications.
Proven experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
Proficiency in design and wireframing tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, OmniGraffle, or similar.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
Experience working within Agile/Scrum development processes.
