Robert Half Sales Manager in Elk Grove Village, Illinois

Description

We are seeking a goal-oriented Sales Manager, with a focus on industrial machinery sales, to join our client's team in Elk Grove Village, Illinois! This role involves leading an inside and outside sales team within the machinery sector. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth and developing strategic sales plans to meet company objectives. Knowledge of Epicor ERP software and Salesforce CRM is beneficial.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of inside and outside sales representatives

  • Set clear sales targets and monitor team performance

  • Provide coaching and guidance to improve sales results

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans to achieve revenue targets

  • Identify key industries and customer segments for industrial machinery sales

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners

  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activity in the machinery sector

  • Attend industry events and trade shows to network and generate leads

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of industrial machinery and its applications

  • Provide technical expertise to the sales team and customers

  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to address customer needs and customize solutions

  • Manage and maintain the Salesforce CRM system ensuring data accuracy and integrity

  • Create and track sales reports and dashboards in the CRM system

    Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Account Sales or related field

  • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services

  • Knowledge and experience in CRM and Crystal Reports

  • Familiarity with Management System and Accounting Functions

  • Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) and Billing Functions

  • Ability to handle Cash Activity and Credit related tasks

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, or related field

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
