Robert Half HRIS Analyst in El Segundo, California

Description

The HRIS Analyst will play a critical role in the management, implementation, and optimization of our Human Resource Information System (HRIS). This position will focus on ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of HRIS data and processes, supporting HR operations, and enhancing system capabilities to meet the evolving needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HRIS Administration:

  • Maintain and update HRIS data, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

  • Configure and manage HRIS modules including employee records, benefits, payroll, and performance management.

  • Implement system upgrades, enhancements, and fixes in coordination with IT and HR teams.

  • Data Management and Reporting:

  • Develop and generate regular and ad-hoc reports to support HR and management decision-making.

  • Analyze HR data trends and metrics to identify and recommend solutions to improve HR processes and employee experience.

  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and company policies.

  • User Support and Training:

  • Provide support to HR staff and other system users, troubleshooting and resolving system issues.

  • Conduct training sessions for HRIS users to improve system utilization and efficiency.

  • Create and maintain user guides, manuals, and documentation for HRIS processes.

  • Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process automation and workflow improvements within the HRIS.

  • Collaborate with HR and other departments to streamline and enhance HRIS-related processes.

  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives, providing technical expertise and support.

  • System Security and Compliance:

  • Monitor system security and access controls to protect sensitive HR data.

  • Ensure the HRIS complies with company policies, labor laws, and regulations.

  • Conduct regular audits of the HRIS to ensure data accuracy and compliance.

    Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an HRIS Analyst or in a similar role.

  • Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle HCM).
