What You Will Do:

This position will have two main functions for the brands Urban Decay and Youth to the People: full direct financial responsibilities for the DMI P&Ls and the critical business analysis of the brand’s global financial performance. This includes driving the UD and YTTP DMI P&Ls month end close, trend, budgets. This role also has complete ownership of the profitability processes for the brands including launches, sets and existing products. This role also includes Internal control, compliance, and reporting. This position has high visibility within the Luxe Division and works directly with the Urban Decay and Youth to the People DMI Brand leaders, Luxe USA and WW Division DMI Finance, Internal Control teams and the USA Affaire Marche Finance Teams.

Responsibilities include:

  • Co-Piloting Profitable Growth: Future Proof the Business Model [60%]:

  • Monitor the future profitability of launches, sets and renovations by

  • Harmonized methodologies and processes between brands

  • Reinforce launch process with Go Project as a key milestone and systematic validation of economic equation especially focusing on key bets and key dilutors

  • Adapt new tools for Launch Tracker and Compass AFP to enhance your analysis

  • Collaborate with RGM global and USA teams to align on brand pricing frame

  • Maintain gross margin glidepath inclusive of key launches, projects, and other strategic initiatives

  • Take lead on consolidating Zone and DMI inputs for Strategic Business planning (incl. 3-Yr, 10-Yr and Impairment Analysis)

  • Partner with Global Supply Chain to understand the global brand stock equation, including WW stock health, E&O risk and other L4TF KPIs

  • Improve transfer prices through the Compass AFP tool and reduce volatility of the IG Margin by monitoring your actuals, analyzing your trends and budgets

  • Unlock gross margin by partnering with Supply Chain and Operations to model future industrial footprint to be as efficient as possible

  • Co-Pilot Profitable Growth: Value Creation [25%]:

  • With your direct report, optimize the brands development costs (A&P and Marketing Product Expenses) by

  • Transversal analysis of by nature and benchmarking between brands

  • ROI analysis of spend

  • People Responsibilities [15%] include:

  • Managing one direct report

  • Communicating and partnering with Brand Controllers, Brand Presidents and Division Finance

  • Key KPIS for the role:

  • 100% Accuracy of monthly actuals, Trend and Budgets for DMI P&L

  • 100% Accretive launch plan

  • Brand PEC compliance

  • Ensure quick response and accuracy to all ad hoc requests

    What We Are Looking For:

    Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting/ Marketing or a related field. MBA preferred, but not required

  • At least 10 years of overall experience in internal or external audits/ internal control

  • Excellent at data management and understanding of systems including excel

  • Must be able to stick to deadlines and timing for critical moments for the business

  • Must be a proactive team player willing to work with both global and local partners to solve problems
