Mailroom Production Team Lead (Full-Time)

El Paso, TX

Work Hours: Monday- Saturday 7am-5:30pm

Pay Rate; $16/per hr

As a Team Lead, you'll play a key role in maintaining smooth and efficient operations. Responsible for leading and assisting workers, troubleshooting, and maintaining all areas of the work floor ensuring that day to day operations is smoothly operating and ensure high-quality output.

Expectations in this Role:

• Must successfully complete 4-week training on a Monday- Friday 8am-530pm schedule.

• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of mailroom clerks to achieve departmental goals and maintain a positive work environment.

• Oversee the sorting, processing, and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring adherence to company policies and postal regulations.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless mail operations and address any issues or special requests.

• Monitor and manage mailroom supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper maintenance.

• Prepare and submit regular reports on mailroom activities, performance metrics, and any issues or improvements.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures related to mail handling and processing.

• Ability to problem-solve and work in a self-guided manner.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a mailroom or similar environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

• Ensure accuracy and quality in all mail processing activities, conducting regular audits, and implementing corrective actions as needed.

• Ability to lift and carry mail and packages up to 50 pounds, stand or walk for extended periods.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced mailroom setting, occasional overtime may be required.

• Reliable, organized, proactive, and able to work well under pressure.

• Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.

• Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).

• Must be eligible to work in the United States

In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive.
