[RESPONSIBILITIES: The Business Counselor Coordinator (BCC) is responsible for providing overall programmatic support to the Womens Business Center (WBC) Director and coordinating the operations of the WBC. You will be working with individuals interested in starting or growing a small business. The BCC will provide one-on-one counseling to clients in order to help them access the resources, information and knowledge required for their business development.
[REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree with two years experience in communications, business administration, business development, public administration, or related social science. An equivalent combination or education and experience may be acceptable.
[Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office and possess the ability to use a variety of software applications including unit specific software. Ability to use basic office equipment (i.e., phone systems, copying machines, scanner/printers, and computers).
[Be a positive team player with excellent people skills. Have the ability to communicate and work professionally [with all clients and co-workers with a positive attitude while motivating and inspiring others.
[DETAILS: This is a full time position working 36 hours per week at the Liston Center in El Dorado Springs, MO. [Wage: $21.37/hr. Months of experience: 24. Starting date: Immediately. Application deadline: Open until position filled. Grade: 5.
