Philips Senior Scrum master / Agile delivery lead in Eindhoven, Netherlands

Scrum master / Agile delivery lead

The position is for a a senior scrum master & agile delivery lead for scrum teams within Philips' Clinical Platforms. The position is for a servant leader who can coach others, strengthen the scrum teams, and is able to initiate and drive improvement activities with train-wide impact, while also ensuring team output and productivity and meeting commitments.

Your role:

  • Leads multiple scrum teams with their respective product owners, fostering built-in quality practices and processes.

  • Manages and optimizes value flow through the team using tools like TFS and information radiators.

  • Drives continuous improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops, assessing and enhancing team agility. Promotes built-in quality practices and processes.

  • Encourages collaboration among teams and departments (e.g., Architects, Engineering, Marketing, Q&R) in areas such as continuous delivery, Lean UX, and DevOps.

  • Facilitates Agile ceremonies, including Sprint/PI Planning, ensuring readiness through preparation of Vision and Backlogs.

  • Works with stakeholders (Product Management, Product Owners, Software Leaders) to align strategy and execution.

  • Coaches leaders, Product Owners, teams, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices to achieve aligned goals. You will manages risks, dependencies, conflicts, and escalates impediments in coordination with Software Leaders.

You’re the right fit if:

  • You are a mature leader in a software development environment, either through education or comparable experience.

  • 5+ years of experience and demonstrated lean-agile leadership skills in agile software development projects with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

  • Expert in lean/agile processes for release/solution trains and stakeholders.

  • Skilled in managing complex agile environments with multiple teams (10-15), locations, and technology domains.

  • Results-driven, committed to achieving goals, and takes action when goals are at risk.

  • Technically knowledgeable with strong coaching abilities for high team performance.

  • Experienced in multi-cultural and multi-site project setups.

  • Familiarity with highly regulated environments (medical) is a plus; experience as a CAPA owner is even better.
