Location: Eden Prairie, Minnesota or Austin, Texas Job ID: 29282 Reporting to the North America Sales Director, the Vertical Business Development Manager's primary responsibilities are to generate new revenue streams within assigned verticals, as well as protect and grow existing revenues, maximize HID installed base market share, and strengthen product selection policies through strategic planning and relationship building with HID channel partners and end customers within North America. Key activities include portfolio management, sales and services program execution and engagement, as well as partner readiness and enablement. The Vertical Business Development Manager defines, develops and deploys long-range partner enablement strategies, as well as evangelizes company products, drives new solutions, and develops marketing tactics with partners. Candidate must effectively manage all sales, service and other challenges associated with HID Global Secure Issuance products and services. Who are we? As ourVertical Business Development Manager, you'll support HID's successby: Focusing on both channel and partners and end users within assigned verticals. Promoting and selling HID Secure Issuance products and services to channel partners. Maintaining full account management responsibility as a single point of contact for all customer activity. Identifying and building strategic relationships within all assigned customer accounts, both direct/indirect. Identifying and participating in all major project opportunities, as required. Following up by providing technical and tactical support to project completion. Providing technical and applications training, as required, for existing and new products at all levels and departments within customer organizations (i.e., Sales, Service/Operations, Procurement, Key Mgmt.). Achieving communicated revenue goals on a consistent monthly and quarterly basis. Participating in all local, regional, and national security trade shows, as required, or directed, by the Regional Business Director. Monitoring and achieving on a monthly/quarterly basis new business and volume goals. Maintaining account and opportunity information in Sales Force on a weekly basis. Preparing quarterly and annual Business Plan for assigned territory as required. Participating in regularly scheduled teleconference meetings. Measuring and monitoring HID Secure Issuance market share penetration in the territory as required. Initiating calls to existing or prospective clients to determine use and needs of HID Secure Issuance products. Achieving total customer satisfaction by interacting with assigned group of customers and HID management. Establishing communications with all departments to facilitate the resolution of customer-related problems. Tracking and reporting on furnished leads and sales by means of periodic activity reports though Salesforce CMS. Participating as member of NA SI Sales team, working closely to identify improvement opportunities, developmental needs and account growth. Preparing and delivering presentations to assigned account base. What we will love about your background: Effective management of customer requirements and expectations. Candidates with equivalent education and a minimum of 5+ years of outside sales experience within the access control/security industry may also be considered. Must possess excellent planning, prioritization, and organizational skills with the ability to adhere to deadlines. Must demonstrate sound judgment and decision-making ability. Why apply?
