The Senior Product Manager role is supporting our Risk Adjustment & Quality Product Team. We are looking for a SME in this space to help with the design, development and management of new and existing products in our Prospective Product Portfolio.

You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Align product vision with larger portfolio strategy, develop business case, and manage capital request and spend

  • Gather, manage and prioritize market/customer requirements in to tactical and strategic roadmaps

  • Synthesize business requirements into a coherent, solution agnostic depiction that business and technical teams can understand

  • Support expansion of new programs within Prospective Services portfolio

  • Work with internal / external business constituents to determine product futures

  • Review / manage product performance, define product enhancements and engage with product owners to execute the launch

  • Identify emerging customer needs and develop innovative solutions to meet them. Solve unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business

  • Develop short term and long-term product roadmaps

  • Demonstrate understanding of cross-functional requirements and impact

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of product management or product development experience

  • 3+ years of experience in Health Care setting

  • 2+ years of experience in Agile software development approach

  • 2+ years of experience defining and managing product roadmaps

  • Subject Matter Expertise in the Risk Adjustment & Quality space

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience working in a product role supporting Risk Adjustment and/or Quality in the health care industry

  • 2+ years of experience in presenting to and engaging and large team (20+) across the organization (Strategy/Product)

  • Experience working in a large, matrix environment

  • Experience managing capital investments

  • Experience working as a manager and/or lead for a product team

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
