Description

We are seeking a Billing Specialist for a fully remote position, who will primarily be responsible for managing customer credit applications and maintaining customer credit records in our telecom provider firm. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate and timely preparation and processing of invoices

• Managing the revenue recognition process and establishing appropriate accounting controls

• Providing high-level customer support and resolving credit inquiries

• Closely working with internal and external customers to manage invoicing related issues

• Utilizing analytical problem-solving skills to identify and rectify issues related to billing

• Monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Demonstrating proficiency in skills such as Invoice Management, Billing, Customer Support, and Revenue Recognition.

Requirements • Proficiency in handling invoice and billing tasks

• Capability to answer and resolve queries related to billing

• Experience in customer support roles dealing with external customers

• Knowledge of revenue recognition procedures

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proficiency in using billing software and other relevant computer applications

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to address billing issues effectively

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive customer and company information.
