Position Summary
The Department of Management at Michigan State University seeks an adjunct instructor to teach an online master's course on "Innovation and Entrepreneurship" beginning January 2023.
The "Innovation and Entrepreneurship" course addresses the management of innovation and launching of new businesses in established firms and startups. Relevant topics include ideation, innovation process, new venture strategy, market assessment and validation, pitching a new business concept, and organizing a new venture.
The course runs for five weeks and is offered every other semester. Instruction is 100 percent online---both asynchronous and synchronous. Each week of the course includes recorded videos and live lectures/discussions. The instructor is expected to develop the course website and instructional materials (including videos) prior to January 2023. All work can be done remotely within the U.S.
This course is part of the Master of Science in Management, Strategy, and Leadership (MSL) program at Michigan State University's Broad College of Business. US News and World Report recently ranked this program #12 among online master's in business programs (#7 among public schools).

Minimum Requirements
The ideal candidate will demonstrate successful experience teaching a similar course and have a graduate degree in a field relevant to the course topic. Doctorate degree for Assistant Professor rank and Masters for Instructor rank required.

Include a curriculum vitae, the applicant's syllabus for a course related to innovation and entrepreneurship taught previously, a recent sample of teaching evaluations, and three references.
