Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business System Owner to join our operations team. The Business System Owner with focus on the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) will be responsible for the overall strategy, implementation, and management of the MES system. This role will ensure that the system supports the company's operational goals, complies with regulatory requirements, and enhances productivity and efficiency across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmaceutical manufacturing, information technology, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the MES system from business perspective.

  • Ensure alignment of the MES system with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

  • Act as the primary liaison between business units, IT, and external vendors.

  • Oversee the planning, implementation, and rollout of the MES system in close collaboration with the ‘sustain and improve’ lead.

  • project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Collaborate with IT and quality assurance teams to ensure the MES system is implemented correctly.

  • Ensure continuous improvement and system upgrades to meet evolving business needs.

  • Engage with key stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and address concerns.

  • Train and support end-users to ensure effective utilization of the MES system.

  • Facilitate communication and change management efforts across the organization.

  • Ensure the MES system complies with all relevant regulatory standards.

  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to maintain system integrity and security.

  • Implement quality control measures to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the system's effectiveness.

  • Prepare and present reports to senior management on system performance and project status.

  • Identify and resolve issues impacting system performance and user satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Higher scientific degree

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on manufacturing, operations, quality, or IT.

  • Proven experience managing and implementing enterprise-level systems, preferably MES or similar systems.

  • Strong project management experience, including leading cross-functional teams.

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
