Linnaeus Lead Registered Veterinary Nurse in East Finchley, United Kingdom

Location: 154 E End Rd, London, N2 0RY

Practice : Village Vet (Garden Suburb)

Hours: Full time, 42 hours, 1:4 Saturdays, part time considered depending on experience - 32-34 hour per week + no weekends

Salary: Up to £37,275, depending on experience

We are currently seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse with at least two years of post-qualification experience to join our team and help us continue to provide outstanding care to our patients and clients.

As a member of our team, you will work closely with our clinical team and have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills as you help to grow and develop our practice. We are looking for someone who is an excellent communicator, highly organised, and comfortable working with autonomy in a small, busy practice.

Located in East Finchley, our practice is conveniently close to local amenities and shops. We are within walking distance of the East Finchley underground station and offer free parking for our clients. Our Head Vet has been with us for over 20 years and has a large client base - he is excited to work alongside a Lead Nurse who shares his dedication to providing the highest levels of care.

At Village Vet Garden, we pride ourselves on our well-equipped facility, which includes digital X-rays, digital dental X-rays, a range of surgical equipment, and modern dental and laboratory equipment. Our dedicated support staff includes a Student Veterinary Nurse, Patient Care Assistant and Client Client Care Assistant, who work together with our Head Vet and Lead Nurse to provide the best possible care to our patients.

The Lead Nurse's clinical responsibilities include nurse consultations, assisting with procedures, monitoring patients under anaesthesia and providing associated peri-operative care. The role will primarily focus on clinical duties, allowing only 5% for administrative tasks, these will include; diary management to aid in the smooth running of the practice, stock management, maintenance of equipment and direct line management for one associate.
