Associates of Cape Cod, Inc Desktop Support Specialist l in East Falmouth, Massachusetts

A position providing computer hardware and software support to ACC\'s end users in a timely and effective manner. 40 hrs./week, scheduled between 7 am and 6 pm arranged M-F some weekends and holidays on request. General Responsibilities: Provides support to end users on a variety of issues Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems Responds to telephone calls, email, and personnel requests for technical support Documents, tracks, and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution Manages IT inventory and supplies Knowledge and Skill Requirements: A general understanding of the principles and concepts of computers and networks Good customer service skills Good analytical and diagnostic skills Education and Experience: Experience with one or more MS applications, preferably Office 365 Experience with MS Windows 10 Professional/Enterprise, Android, and IOS operating system(s) Good written and oral communications skills, strong attention to detail and willingness to follow directions and established procedures with minimal supervision High school graduate or equivalent, some college preferred 0-3 related experience in Desktop Support General Competencies: Adapts to change, open to new ideas and responsibilities Communicates well (written and verbal), delivers presentations, has good listening skills Perform tasks with a computer. Email, research, interaction with others via the internet. Creating and editing documents typically with utilizing MSOffice; word documents, spreadsheets and create a slide presentation (Power Point).
