Tax Analyst

Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Tax Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various tax-related tasks and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mail Management: Handle incoming correspondence from taxing authorities and ensure timely responses.

• Tax Research: Conduct thorough research on taxability based on specific situational issues that arise.

• Sales and Use Tax: Collaborate with Avalara to address monthly sales and use tax needs and questions.

• Revenue Reporting: Prepare and submit quarterly revenue reports to various states.

• Fuel Tax Reporting: Work closely with the team to manage fuel tax reporting requirements.

• Property Tax Reporting: Oversee property tax reporting across multiple locations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Proven experience in tax compliance or a similar role.

• Strong analytical and research skills.

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

• Proficiency with tax software, particularly Avalara, is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00
